Nominate a candidate to represent retirees by August 23
Established in 1998, the Pension Information Committee (PIC) promotes understanding of the Bell Canada Pension Plan and reviews financial, actuarial and administrative aspects of the plan during a meeting with company representatives.
The committee consists of 6 members who are contributing to or receiving a pension from the Bell Canada Pension Plan, including 2 representatives appointed by Unifor and 1 elected representative for each of the following groups:
– Management employees in Ontario and Western Canada
– Management employees in Québec and Atlantic Canada
– Retirees in Ontario and Western Canada
– Retirees in Québec and Atlantic Canada
Nominations for retiree positions
If you are interested in serving on the committee or would like to nominate a fellow retiree, please send an e-mail to: Retirement_Retraite@bell.ca by August 23.
Please include:
– The nominee’s full name
– The nominee’s employee number
– The nominee’s address and province of residence
Please indicate your name and employee number. You can find your employee number on your Pension Statement. Only one nomination per person.
Before nominating someone, please confirm they are willing to serve on the committee for a 3-year term from January 2025 to December 2027.
Elections start early September
If a candidate receives a considerable amount of nominations, their name will appear on the ballot. Voting will take place early September. You will be provided with voting instructions at a later time.
If an elected representative cannot complete his or her 3-year term, the runner-up candidate will be invited to assume their position on the committee until the next election.
